Annual Calibration & Maintenance Contracts
Stop chasing due dates across a spreadsheet. One contract puts every instrument you own on a single managed schedule — tracked, calibrated on time by an ISO 17025:2017 accredited laboratory, and audit-ready every day of the year.
Nobody Fails an Audit Because Calibration Is Hard. They Fail Because a Date Slipped.
Most companies do not lose control of calibration deliberately. It happens quietly: the engineer who kept the spreadsheet moves on, a gauge gets swapped and never added to the list, a batch of instruments comes back from a site and nobody logs them. Then an auditor asks for the certificate of one specific tag number, and the search begins.
An annual calibration contract removes that failure mode entirely. Instead of your team remembering, we maintain the asset register, track every due date, schedule the work in planned batches, and arrive before the certificates expire — not after. Calibration Contracts in Dubai and across the Emirates from TCAL turn a recurring administrative risk into a fixed, predictable service line.
Everything is delivered by our ISO 17025:2017 accredited laboratory, so the certificates behind the schedule carry the same traceability, serialization and measurement uncertainty as any individual job we perform. The difference is that under contract, you also get priority scheduling, consolidated certificate packs and a single point of contact who already knows your equipment list.
Contracts can cover one category of instrument or your entire population across several sites — pressure, weighing, electrical, flow, temperature, gas detection and safety valves under one agreement, one calendar and one invoice.
What Changes When Calibration Is Managed
The instruments get calibrated either way. What a contract changes is everything around them.
No Missed Due Dates
We hold the register and the calendar. Work is scheduled before expiry, not discovered after it — which is the single most common cause of an audit finding.
Predictable Budget
An agreed annual figure replaces a year of ad-hoc quotations and emergency call-out premiums. Finance can plan; engineering stops raising one-off POs.
Audit-Ready Any Day
Certificates arrive as a consolidated, indexed pack rather than scattered emails. When an inspector names a tag number, you produce it in seconds.
Priority Response
Contract clients are scheduled first, including for urgent additions — a replacement instrument certified before it goes into service rather than weeks later.
Trend Visibility
Year-on-year as-found data shows which instruments drift fastest — evidence for shortening an interval, relocating a gauge, or replacing a repeat offender.
One Accountable Vendor
Scales, gauges, meters, detectors and safety valves under one agreement — no coordinating four suppliers and four schedules to cover one site.
Ad-Hoc Calibration vs Annual Contract
An honest comparison — ad-hoc suits a small, stable instrument list. Beyond that, the admin starts costing more than the calibration.
| Ad-Hoc Calibration | Annual Contract | |
|---|---|---|
| Due date tracking | Your team's spreadsheet | Managed by TCAL |
| Scheduling | Requested job by job | Planned batches, agreed in advance |
| Cost visibility | Quoted each time | Fixed annual figure |
| Urgent work | Standard queue | Priority response |
| Certificates | Individual, per job | Consolidated, indexed pack |
| Audit preparation | Assemble on demand | Always current |
| Drift history | Not tracked | Year-on-year as-found data |
| Best suited to | A few instruments, one site | Larger populations or multiple sites |
Setting Up Your Contract
From first conversation to a running schedule — usually within a couple of weeks.
Instrument Survey
We build the asset register with you — every instrument, its tag, type, range, location and the interval its service actually justifies.
Schedule & Proposal
We map the year — which instruments, which months, on-site or in-lab — and issue a fixed-price proposal against that plan.
Execution
Visits happen as planned, with advance notice. Instruments are calibrated, labelled and certified — with as-found and as-left results recorded throughout.
Review & Renew
At year end we review drift trends and equipment changes, adjust intervals where the data justifies it, and roll the register into the next term.
Every TCAL Service, Under One Agreement
Pick the services your site needs — or put the entire instrument population on a single contract.
Calibration Contracts Across the Emirates
Single-site or multi-emirate — one register, one schedule, one point of contact.
Calibration Contracts in Dubai
With our laboratory minutes from Al Quoz, Jebel Ali and the ports, Dubai contract clients get the tightest scheduling we offer — planned visits, priority slots for urgent additions, and collection loops that fit around production.
Calibration Contracts in Abu Dhabi
The capital's industrial operators run large instrument populations under strict permit systems. We plan the year around your shutdown and permit windows, so contract visits never collide with restricted access periods.
Calibration Contracts in Sharjah
Sharjah's manufacturers and food producers typically carry a mixed instrument list — scales, gauges, thermometers and detectors. One contract covers all of it, in one visit per cycle rather than four.
Calibration Contracts in Ajman
For Ajman's factories and processing plants, contracts remove the stop-start of raising a purchase order for every instrument. The year is agreed once, and the schedule simply runs.
Calibration Contracts in Ras Al Khaimah
RAK's cement, quarry and manufacturing operations work instruments hard in abrasive conditions. Contract data shows which ones drift fastest, so intervals get set by evidence rather than habit.
Calibration Contracts in Fujairah
East-coast terminals and industrial sites gain most from planned scheduling — one mobilization covering the full instrument list, timed around vessel and terminal operations rather than squeezed between them.
Calibration Contracts in Umm Al-Quwain
UAQ businesses receive the same managed service as our Dubai clients — a scheduled route rather than a special trip, which is exactly what makes an annual contract practical in the northern emirates.
Multi-Emirate Programs
Operating across several emirates? One agreement covers every site, with visits sequenced so your teams are never all out of certificate at once — and one consolidated certificate pack for the whole group.
Calibration Contracts — Frequently Asked Questions
There is no hard minimum, but the honest answer is that contracts start paying for themselves when tracking becomes a job in itself — typically once you have instruments across multiple categories, multiple locations, or staggered due dates. With a handful of instruments on one site, ad-hoc calibration is often perfectly sensible, and we will tell you so.
Yes — that's the main reason clients want one. Scales, pressure gauges, multimeters, flowmeters, gas detectors, chillers, lux meters and safety valves can all sit under a single agreement with a single schedule, rather than being split across separate suppliers and separate purchase orders.
New instruments are added to the register and picked up in the schedule. Contract clients get priority for urgent additions, so a replacement instrument can be certified before it goes into service rather than waiting for the next planned visit.
Contract pricing is agreed for the year as a package, which is generally more economical than a series of individual jobs — and it eliminates emergency call-out premiums that arise when a certificate expires unnoticed. The larger saving, though, is usually in your own team's time spent tracking, chasing and assembling paperwork.
You do, guided by our recommendation. We propose intervals based on manufacturer guidance, the instrument's service conditions and your industry requirements — then adjust them at review time using your own as-found history. Instruments that stay well within tolerance may justify longer intervals; repeat drifters get shortened.
